This is for today's LSC191 (to use leaves and at least a touch of pink) and Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge to make a flat card.
I just got this set (a retired SU! set) and had to play with it for today's leafy challenge. I colored the image with Prisma Pencils and blended with Gamsol.
The leaves are cut with a Martha Stewart Punch, and to give them definition, I put them on a light box and used the tiny end of my stylus and drew in the veins. I then sponged a variety of TH distress inks on the edges and lightly over the veins. I mounted my image and leaves on an exchange RAK from Peggy (Marilyn Prestonn)... Sanded. I sponged that as well with TH Antique Linen. The only thing not totally flat on this is the pheasant, which I stamped twice and popped up on dimensionals.... I think it's still pretty flat. I resisted the urge to build in more elevation for the leaves to meet the qualifications.
It's late at night, but thanks to anyone who looks!

So beautiful, I love covered bridges and I've never seen one out here in Washington. Another one of those little things I miss about living on the East Coast. Your card is so lovely, Grace, it really captures a feeling of fall.

I think you were right to pop the pheasant up, it really adds movement to the card (along with those wind swirls!!). That was some amount of work veining the leaves - I'd have been lazy and gone for using a pen rather than scoring them, but the effect you got is really great.
